How it works
An AI members club, run the way a good dinner is.
Everything of this kind has sat in London for years. The West Midlands AI Hub gives Birmingham and the wider region a room of its own, for the people whose names are on the AI decision.
The club meets over private dinners, working lunches and closed seminars in Birmingham city centre. Each evening brings a guest speaker from the front line of artificial intelligence, cyber security or data governance, in a format built for questions rather than slides. A dozen or so people around one table, a topic that matters this quarter, and enough time to get past the headlines.
Membership is for those who carry the decision: founders and owners, chief executives and managing directors, chief information security officers and data protection officers. Whether your organisation is running its first experiments with AI or already has systems in production, the conversation is held in plain English and no question is a silly one.
Nothing is recorded, nothing is streamed and there is no audience. Every member and guest keeps a written code of conduct, and that closed door is what makes the honest conversation possible. Between evenings, members share what they are learning through the club's articles and the members network.
There are three ways in. A seat at one dinner is by invitation. Full Membership, covering every dinner, lunch and seminar in the season, is on application and read by a member.
